One of the first new lines of greeting cards I introduced to our customers in 2019 is by a British designer, Ginnie, who launched White Cotton Cards in 2000 upon completing Art College at Wimbledon School of Art. What drew me to her cards were the hand-finished 3D elements that feature in many of her designs. Yes, that does make them a little more expensive than the average greeting card, but when you see them in person and feel the luxury paper, you come to understand the time and talent that goes into making each one of their cards means they are not your average greeting card. They are special, keepsake cards people will hold onto for many years.

Another thing I love about White Cotton Cards is that they are all made right here in the UK. Over the past 23 years White Cotton Cards has grown to supply retail shops all over the world and it’s easy to see why. They offer an incredibly large range of designs for every occasion you can think of. The collection of greeting cards our customers seem to love the most are their blank engagement, wedding, and anniversary cards. I think one of the reasons they are so popular with our customers is because they offer a vast array of elegant designs for various relations (granddaughter/grandson, niece/nephew, mummy & daddy, etc) that could be getting engaged or married, or be celebrating an anniversary. With our latest delivery, we are now able to offer wedding day cards for godsons and goddaughters as well as a larger selection of cards for granddaughters and grandsons that have recently become engaged and are getting married.

One of my favourite things to see when I placed our most recent order was the improvement in options for same sex weddings. There is still a lot of work to be done to include engagements and anniversaries, as well as many other relations for wedding day cards, but I am happy to be able to offer more than a standard ‘Mr and Mr’ and ‘Mrs and Mrs’ option. We are now able to offer beautiful, luxurious wedding day cards for your sister and sister-in-law or your brother and brother-in-law. We also have cards for the grooms and brides to give one another on their very special day. I hope you will take a few minutes to check out all these new cards; I think the designs they put together truly are stunning.

Of course, we cannot forget about the incredible selection of anniversary cards we are able to offer from this collection. We have cards for special anniversaries such as, the paper anniversary, silver anniversary, and golden anniversary, but we also have anniversary cards for special friends, for mums & dads, grandparents, and many others.  What I love most about sending an anniversary card to someone in our family or to a couple we are close to, is that most couples do not generally expect other people to remember their wedding anniversary. Knowing there are others celebrating their love and commitment to one another is a comforting feeling when so often we can become isolated in our daily routines and responsibilities.

I hope you can take a few minutes to explore our full collection of luxury engagement, wedding, and anniversary cards from White Cotton Cards. Simply click here and a new window will launch allowing you to search through all of our engagement, wedding, and anniversary offerings, including ones from other British artists. Even if you don’t need one now, someone you know may have a big announcement soon and you will want to know exactly where to find the best card for that person’s exciting news. The only thing better than that is knowing each purchase of these cards supports two UK small businesses and their employees and families.
