Value for money is one of the driving forces for me when I am selecting what gifts and accessories we want to offer and it’s even more vital when we are talking about jewellery that can and may well be worn every day.
Another thing I love about this brand is their commitment to sustainability. Instead of producing thousands of each ring band design and size and millions of their crystal toppers in their wide range of colours, styles, and finishes and hope to sell them all, they instead make the products when they are ordered. It does mean that it usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to get our deliveries, but it also means there will not be much waste generated in the manufacturing of this gorgeous brand of jewellery. Once they have created a product they are happy with, they make samples to send their distributors and then they don’t make anything else until they receive orders for them. Instead of working with sterling silver and pure gold, the company make all their rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings with hypo-allergenic stainless steel. Why is this so good? Stainless steel is a much more durable and hard-wearing metal than silver or gold and it will never tarnish. For the gold collection they have mixed gold in with the stainless steel before then putting several coats of gold plating on the outside. The reason they do this is because they want to make sure that if the gold plating layers ever wear off there will be gold underneath and not silver. If you ask me, this is genius! It means your jewellery will continue to look brand new for many years to come. As someone who has been wearing the Qudo Interchangeable collection for more than two years, I can honestly say my pieces look just as gorgeous as they did the day they arrived and I never leave the house without my Qudo jewellery.
